Ironite "sweetens" your soil. In our area the soil tends to be alkaline. Iron is extremely important for growing healthy turf. Iron helps improve lawn color and density, helps to control thatch, and increase root developement. Our iron application helps to keep the chemistry of your soil in balance so that you can have and enjoy a thicker, greener, healthier lawn. Soil that is too alkaline causes "fertilizer lockup". This means that fertilizer and important micronutrients become locked up in the soil and are unavailiable to the grass.
